“Questions…
1.Is creativity innate and inborn? Or can it be cultivated?
2. If it can be cultivated, how can we be more creative, original and inventive with respect to our work/studies/research/daily life?
3. My dad says that just hard, focused work and deep knowledge is necessary to be creative. (Edison’s 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration formula). Do you agree?
Recently went through a research-based Masters degree and was pretty frustrated at the end with the little amount of original and creative work I came up with for my thesis. Also, life (am working now) seems to be quite linear and monotonic nowadays. Hence, I want to know, how people out there are inventive, how they come up with original ideas and results, and how they are more creative in general. Please give your ideas, views and suggestions. Thanks!”

first, there has to be ‘reward’ or ’satisfaction’ for it.
second, we must provide a circumstances that support it. (consider it as a culture).

Yes, I believe that there are certain innate upper bounds to one’s creativity potential.
However, as one gains experience on the job and, indeed, in everyday life, inspiration and creativity sometimes spontaneously erupts.
You may just need to mature a little more to allow those abilities to manifest themselves. Don’t worry. That potential is there. Just try to allow it to happen rather than attempting to force it.
Hi!
Creativity can be innate and it can also be cultivated.
1. Being creative is showing interest in things and being sensitive to people and happenings.
2. It can be cultivated by acquiring knowledge.
3. By assessing this knowledge and trying to read deeper.
4..By being alert and observant
5. By being an attentive listener
6. Asking pertinent questions
7.Compare all the knowledge you gather with your own beliefs and seeds of creativity will be sown.
Being creative is giving free vent to your own thoughts and beliefs once you have your facts in place.
You could be revealing a whole new dimension to something that no one else had seen before.
Good luck
Cheers n Chin up:)
